Alex Jones lays out the incentive structure he finds most dangerous: a leader whose freedom depends on the war continuing, staring at a president trying to end it:

“He’s teed himself up like a golf ball on a tee or a gun that’s had the bullet loaded into the chamber and cocked it.”

The scenario Alex war-games from there is dark.

If Trump were killed and Iran got the blame, the pressure for instant, massive retaliation would bury every question about who actually benefited.
