Bali for Property. Dubai for 0% Tax. But could Georgia be the Next Big Expat Destination?

By Jamie Mcintyre

As I wrap up my final night in Downtown Dubai, I’ve been reflecting on the differences between Dubai and Bali — and what each destination offers for people looking to live, invest or do business overseas.

For me, Bali stands out when it comes to property investment and lifestyle, and it continues to attract expats from around the world.

Dubai, on the other hand, has created an incredibly attractive environment for entrepreneurs, with world-class infrastructure, a strong international business community and 0% personal income tax.

Next stop: Georgia — a destination on the Black Sea that has been growing in popularity with expats and investors. Before COVID, I predicted that Georgia could experience a significant property boom.

Now I’m heading back to see how that prediction has played out.

Dubai, Bali or Georgia — where would you choose to live or invest?
