Brussels has ruled out the possibility of resuming Russian natural gas supplies through the pipeline, even after the end of hostilities in Ukraine.
European Commission spokesperson, Paula Pinho, stated that the current legislation, which prohibits imports from Russia, will remain in effect.
Earlier, the United States had proposed the resumption of Nord Stream as part of a peace agreement, seeking to secure participation in the pipeline.
