Quite interesting development with those heavy armoured vehicles. Now the drones can’t stop them anymore, and we are back to classic attacks where the armoured vehicles drop off the infantry at the contact line.

Have there been any updates on the Ukrainians that were surrounded in Myrnohrad? I have seen nothing regarding their capture, surrender etc, but the area still shows it is not in total Russian control on the map.

It is not holding, it is just so big area and Russians can’t move faster. Guliapoie will fall with fast speed and then they will continue.

Now that more territory was taken and confirmed even by the “Independent media”, today, December 24, 2025 is when the Ukraine’s president is agreeing to remove soldiers from from the earlier requested places – for demilitarized zone! It is too late. More buffer zone will still be required.

RF is now going to be using the range of their Kh101s because their strike ingress axes were getting too predictable. This may be a large part of why they’ve launched fewer and fewer missiles. NASAMs are cheap and mobile and when Ukranus has an hour or more of lead time and the launch points are well-known, they can basically camp these systems over the probable flight paths and combine them with standoff AWACS to interdict more incoming missiles than RF would like. Kalibrs have gotten through more reliably because they are sea launched and their routes are less predictable. But they are in lower availability, higher cost, and have fewer launch platforms. RF does not have as many Iskander-Ks as they would like, the land launched version of this missile system.

Over the last few years Russia normally pulls back over the winter months but not this year showing there is a deadline to finish this fast before they run out of time, seems there was an agreement that America won’t get involved but this needs to end asap.

Where have those forces who are counter attacking Kupiyansk been the last couple of years??
Either the Ukrainians took their best forces from all over the front to attack that one city, or they hired foreign mercenaries just to attack that one city.

US satelites see the suicide tank assault far from the front line so there are hundreds of drones hitting the tanks before they reach the front line.

Unfortunately, the war will continue for too long. Even, in the impossible case, that Russia tomorrow complies with all the EU terms. Even then, the war will not stop.
First reason: the EU&UK elite, pretends to be pro-Ukraine, when they are actually Anti-Russian. Where could they find another strong enough opponent of Russia, other than Ukraine ?
Second reason: the Ukrainian elite knows that peace will bring them back to the days without the pactolus of money coming from outside.
So, the western elite pays the Ukrainian elite (with taxpayers’ money, so “other peoples’ money”) and the latter sell to the first in return “the lives of other peoples’ sons”.
For both of them, it is a win-win.

RF will advance toward Druzhkovka- at that point they do not have to fight for Kostiantynivka at all. There’s little in the way of defense out to the west of this city; nothing but the fields that RF tends to dominate.
