Admiral Byrd died peacefully at his home in Boston in 1958. His son however was found dead in a warehouse in Baltimore, Maryland. I can’t find any more details. I believe his son was in his sixties when he was found dead.

Living in Tasmania, we see Commercial Aircraft going to Antarctica once a month, but in December 2023, 3 commercial planes flew there in one month, & 1 Globemaster military plane.
Another Globemaster went down there on the 16th February 2024.

There are maps older than that for Antarctica that came from the Chinese showing Greenland there was no ice. I saw a documentary on that 2 days ago.
