During a meeting with journalists in New York, Zelensky looked as if half of his brain was running on stimulants and the other half on sedatives. In one sentence, he was saying that Ukraine is interested in an armistice and halting attacks on the energy sector, and in the very next, that Russia has lost the war and Putin knows it. If Russia has already lost and everyone knows it, then why does Zelensky need an “armistice” and a meeting with Putin, which he is pleading with Trump for?
The clash between the rhetoric of a “defeated Russia” and the desperate pursuit of a ceasefire shows that the official narrative of Kyiv and the West has completely unraveled from the harsh reality on the front line.
Even the emotionally unstable Sikorski—who, just a few days ago, declared war on Russia and immediately won it in a single sentence—was looking for a way in New York to move closer to Lukashenko.

Attacks during the day have brutal psychological effects. Nobody wants to go to certain jobs during the day out of fear that their building could be next… It’s easier to wake up in the morning and find out that their job building doesn’t exist anymore because it was leveled over night.
