The Qld Government’s Health Practitioner Regulation National Law and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022 will be voted on 11 October 2022. It has Two Major Alarming Changes
The Qld Governments – Health Practitioner Regulation National Law and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2022 will be voted on 11 October 2022. It has two major, alarming changes.
1. Introduces legislation that places importance on the Government messaging and marketing on health above the doctor’s relationship with their patient. The legislation refers to “public confidence in health services” as the paramount principle of all our healthcare, overriding the principle of patient-centered care in favor of supporting regulation and enforcement of national agendas.
Outcome
This puts bureaucrats in charge of medical decisions between doctors and their patients.
It will also require ‘one size fits all treatments, to be forced upon people who are medically unsuited to receiving it. This will be done for the so-called ‘greater good. It will stop treatment according to the patient’s individual circumstances (medical history, medications, allergies, etc.). It will mean the end of Medicine as we know it. The idea of getting a second opinion will be obsolete as all health practitioners must convey the government’s stance on a health issue. Doctors will be punished with fines, deregistration, and imprisonment for not following the Government’s messaging and recommendation. This will apply to not just Doctors, but to all health practitioners, whether they are registered with APHRA or not. We will see medical communism.
2. If the Bill is passed in Queensland, the changes to the National Law apply automatically in all other states and territories (except for WA and SA which must update their laws – but will very likely)
Outcome
Its Nationwide applicability overrides scrutiny by other parliaments. These health laws were not able to be scrutinised by the elected members of the other states and territories.
