Were you aware that Queensland traffic cameras are run by a private corporation on behalf of our state government? The link is for a petition to investigate the profitability of both the government and the corporation. With road deaths on the increase, any claim that they make roads safer is an outright lie. It’s all about the money.
Highlights many concerns, including the legality of cameras. Drawing attention to the blatant oppressive revenue raising that Queen slanders are suffering. This last year alone has seen our new Queensland premier eat humble pie on having to refund over 6000 wrongly issued camera fines.
