The White House officially announced that the actions against Iran are not a war, but a major military operation (MMO), and named its objectives:
- Demilitarization of Iran;
- Protection of the USA from threats from Iran, including in the future;
- Elimination of the Ayatollah’s terrorist regime;
- Guarantees that Iran will not have nuclear weapons.
